Little Bay Cottage - 8 East St SWR

Tucked away amongst the trees on the edge of beautiful Arakoon National Park, Little Bay Cottage is the ultimate peaceful coastal escape. Perfectly positioned just moments from our beautiful Beaches, this charming cottage offers the closest accommodation to the beaches, ideal for swimming, fishing, bushwalking, whale watching, and exploring the natural beauty of South West Rocks.

Inside, the cottage features a relaxed open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area flowing seamlessly onto a private deck through large glass doors. Fire up the gas BBQ, unwind amongst the sounds of nature, and enjoy the laid-back coastal atmosphere.

Sleeping up to 5 guests, the cottage includes:

1 Queen Bedroom
1 Bunk Bed (2 Singles)
1 Trundle Bed

The bathroom includes a separate toilet, while downstairs you’ll find a laundry complete with washing machine for added convenience.

Nature lovers will be right at home, with walking trails to Trial Bay Gaol, Monument Hill, Laggers Point, and Smoky Cape Lighthouse all just minutes away. Keep an eye out for native birdlife, soaring sea eagles, and migrating whales during the season.

Please note:
Strictly no pets permitted due to the property’s location within Arakoon National Park.

Whether you’re seeking adventure or simply a quiet place to recharge, Little Bay Cottage is the perfect base for your next coastal getaway. Don’t forget your swimmers, snorkel, sunscreen, and camera!

While we ensure that all beds are equipped with mattress protectors, pillows, pillowcases, quilts, and quilt covers, we kindly ask guests to bring their own sheets, towels, bath mats, and tea towels. Additionally, guests are expected to provide their own laundry detergent, dish soap, personal soap, and toilet paper among other personal necessities.

  We really enjoyed our stay there. It's nestled in bushland and very private. Facilities were immaculate, but a few extra items would be handy such as a soap dish in the shower, hooks for clothing in the bathroom and bedrooms. Also there is no dining table, just a breakfast bar with stools. But we still enjoyed the overall experience greatly. There is much to see and do in the area, and the cottage is ideally placed for walks.

  We have stayed here several times and this time was just as good. It's a basic but comfirtable cottage and the location is great, just a 5 minute walk to Littel Bay Beach and the headland walks and it is only a few minutes drive to town. The only complaint is the bad smell from the toilet, of urine, which we don;t think was cleaned prior to our arrival. Not ideal but otherwise we had a great stay.

  We just experienced our best Christmas holiday ever. This is the perfect location! Nestled in nature with Koalas in the trees, Kangaroos on the grass and only a 3 minute walk to Little Bay Beach and bush walking tracks - this place is beautiful. The accommodation is quaint, comfortable and clean. There is a constant cool coastal breeze that cooled the house and kept it comfortable, there were also fans if required. Arakoon is just a short drive (or a comfortable walk) from south west rocks restaurants and shopping precinct. It is away from the hustle and bustle of this tourist town. The beautiful Trial bay is just around the corner, accessed by car or beautiful short bush walks. There is so much to do and enjoy in this region... I will definitely be back and would stay again at Little Bay Cottage, it was ideal for me and my two girls and our love of nature and the outdoors.
